I am a psychologist, a two-time breast cancer survivor, and Associate Professor of Psychology at Johnson C. Smith University. I have served as a Board Member of The Association of Black Psychologists. I am a Fulbright Scholar. I love playing Bid Whist, Word Chums, and Monopoly.

My latest research primarily involves African American women with breast cancer. This website is a sharing of experiences and research findings about breast cancer, mastectomy, lumpectomy, PTSD, Post-Traumatic Growth and Body Image.

Come along for the ride and do some driving yourself.

This interplay of ideas and actions should make for an interesting and informative adventure!
